Chanohanaen organic green tea is grown at CHIRAN town in Kagoshima prefecture in Kyusyu Island. The tea in this town has one of famous brand name “CHIRANCHA” generally in Japan. Japanese green tea is produced total 92,100 ton. Kagoshima tea is produced 24,100 ton in 2007 which is secondly productivity 26.2 % in Japan ( Shizuoku is primary one 39,900 ton , 43.3 % ). Japanese green tea is very safety, healthy and beauty for human. Green Tea contains a very high value of Catechin that have properties that are known to fight against cancer. In addition, Vitamin B complex Vitamin C, Vitamin E etc., Green tea has also higher values of medicinal properties than other teas, due to drying process. According to American Medical Association, green tea can help to lower cholesterol and cuts the risk of stroke in human.

Our farmer Mr. Orita has firm belief in “ best environment for the earth “, and “ grow up safety & healthy tea” since 20 years ago. Thus he has never used agricultural chemicals and then changed all field to organic farming As to our Fukamushicha and Sencha do not have certification from JAS organization, but farming is quite same as JAS certified farming. As you may know, to get the JAS certification is required many works, much additional expense so JAS marked products are valuable. .
As a result, big news has been spread out and he has won the prize of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries continuously 3 years from 1996 to 1998.
